TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE. WHY DID YOU BECOME A REAL ESTATE AGENT?

I obtained my real estate license on the advice of a salesperson I met while purchasing a new home. She liked my personality and encouraged me to explore the real estate industry. Although I had earned my license, I continued working for the state in Sacramento. However, after becoming pregnant and giving birth, I decided to leave my state job to stay home with my baby. This allowed me to fully explore my new career in real estate, utilizing my recently obtained salesperson license.

DO YOU SPECIALIZE IN A SPECIFIC CITY OR CITIES?

Mostly Contra Costa, Solano and Sonoma Counties. 

WHICH AREAS DO YOU FOCUS ON?

I am openo all opportunities. So far, I have worked on housing, multi-unit properties, and short sales. Although I have attempted commercial projects, I have not yet achieved success in that area.

I own a couple of Indian community musical groups, hold a gym membership, and participate in various other community organizations. I actively maintain connections within my social circle.

I am originally from southern India and migrated to Washington, D.C. in 2001. I married a wonderful Filipino man in 2004, and we now have a daughter who will soon turn 18. After our marriage in July 2004, we moved to California. My mother tongue is Tamil, but I also speak and understand several other languages from India: Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, and Gujarati.

WHO INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?

My daughter, Neha, inspires me deeply. After her birth, I wanted to be there for her, so I made the decision to transition from a corporate and government job with set hours to being self-employed.

As a self-motivated and conscientious real estate agent with a strong work ethic, my underlying philosophy of 'service first' ensures that my clients' needs are paramount. I diligently strive to understand each client’s goals and consistently exemplify trust, transparency, and integrity. Working closely with buyers and sellers, I educate and inform them at every step of the transaction, guiding them towards achieving both their immediate and long-term goals.
