Meet Holly

TELL US ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE.

After many years working in Product Development and Sourcing in corporate retail, I decided to pursue real estate as a second career. I was looking for something more people-focused - a role where I could connect with individuals from all walks of life. When I had the opportunity to help with a few property tours, I quickly realized how much I enjoyed helping people find a place to call home. Real estate allows me to build lasting relationships while helping clients navigate an important and meaningful chapter of their lives.

How long have you been in the real estate industry?

I’ve been in the real estate industry since becoming licensed in January 2024. I initially focused on leasing and recently decided to transition into sales, where I’m excited to continue growing my knowledge and helping clients through an important life milestone.

What most excites you about your work?

What excites me most about real estate is that it challenges me in new ways. Starting a second career can be intimidating, but I see that as part of the excitement. Real estate is fast-paced, competitive, and always evolving, which keeps me motivated to continue learning and growing. I’m eager to build my knowledge, expand my network, and help people through such an important milestone in their lives.

What are three words your clients would use to describe you?

1. Approachable - I genuinely like engaging with people and learning about their background and experiences.

2. Open Minded - I listen closely, stay flexible, and work to understand each client's unique goals.

3. Supportive - I will be your biggest advocate throughout the entire journey, offering encouragement and guidance each step of the way.

What are the five things you cannot live without?

1. Connection – Whether it’s with family, friends, or someone I’ve just met, I genuinely love connecting with people and learning their stories. I’m definitely the person who will know five things about you within the first five minutes of chatting!

2. Books – One of my favorite smells is a bookstore, and I’ll visit local bookshops whenever I travel. I mostly read fiction across different genres, but I also enjoy memoirs, nonfiction, and the occasional self-help book.

3. Being Outdoors in the Sun – While I wouldn’t call myself “outdoorsy” (you’ll never catch me camping), I love an urban walk or run and a low-risk hike — emphasis on low risk and no sheer cliffs.

4. Sweet Treats – The quickest way to cheer me up — or motivate me to run five miles — is the promise of a sweet treat afterward.

5. Coffee – I’m basically nonfunctional without coffee, especially before 9 a.m.

Where can we find you when you're not working?

When I’m not working, you can usually find me playing pickleball. I started a couple of years ago and have met so many amazing people across different ages and backgrounds through the sport. As someone who never really played sports growing up, pickleball has helped me build confidence while learning new skills and having fun along the way.

This year, I also set a goal to walk 10–12K steps a day, so if I’m not on the pickleball court, I’m probably out on a run, walk, or hike with friends enjoying San Francisco’s beautiful green spaces.

I’m also an avid reader and love curling up with a good book. You can usually find me updating my Goodreads account, where I’ve challenged myself to read 85 books this year.

What was the happiest moment in your life?

Becoming a mom has been the happiest and most meaningful moment of my life. The experience of pregnancy and childbirth felt incredibly surreal, and it’s something I’m deeply grateful to have experienced. Motherhood has given me a new perspective on love and appreciation for life.

What is one of your dream vacations?

My dream vacation combines two of my favorite things: beautiful beaches and the energy of a big city. I love destinations like Hawaii and different parts of Asia, and my dream would be to spend an extended amount of time there — really getting to experience the culture, food, and everyday life like a local instead of just taking a quick trip.

What magical power would you want to have?

I’ve always wanted the power to teleport! I love visiting new places and experiencing different cultures, but I could definitely do without the long flights and travel days. Being able to instantly get somewhere would be the ultimate superpower.
