TELL ME ABOUT YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE.
I chose real estate after several successful years in teaching in the Catholic School system. The career change was eminent when class sizes dropped immensely due to the downturn in the economy in 2009. Initially I was going to transition straight into real estate, when unfortunately, my parent’s health started failing. I then decided to take this time and focus on them. I took care of them for 2 years before they passed away. Shortly after I decided it was time to put my real estate license to work. The path was obvious, for several years I periodically worked with my wife who at the time had her own real estate and mortgage brokerage company. I felt that real estate was the only other way of giving back to the community other than teaching. I prayed and took the leap of faith into the field of real estate.
