My journey in real estate has been an interesting one, starting from when I was 19. I was working at a mortgage backed securities trading hedge fund in 2007, right before the real estate bubble popped. I was helping the investment fund navigate a real estate market filled with bad investments that consumers had purchased in bundles in the decade running up to 2007. They did great during those years and that was because of technology.
After that experience and graduating from Cal (UC Berkeley), I kept working in finance and tech and after a string of successful years, I ended up starting my own real estate investment fund. Plenty of our clients asked whether we could help them in their own personal journeys in real estate and we realized with our expertise and background, providing agent services for real estate investors or homebuyers is something we can do to make the homebuying process that much better.

Residential, Investments, Cash Flow (rental) or Development (renovation or new build)
WHAT ARE THREE WORDS YOUR CLIENTS WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE YOU?
Responsive – Coming from an investment focused side of real estate, I completely understand the urgency and need for quick and responsive communications. A deal or investors commitment can be lost within half of hour of delay sometimes. I bring the same kind of urgency and energy to any deal, whether its for our investors or regular home buying clients.
Transparent – Good news or bad news, being transparent with clients and investors is the only way to successfully help people end up as home owners or investors. Half the battle for real estate is the complexity and being transparent and upfront about difficulties and challenges will only make yourself and your clients better.
Reliable – This one almost seems like a minimum requirement for being an agent but there are plenty who forget that consistent high quality service for clients is the only priority you should have. Showing up for clients, day in and day out, being detailed oriented and making sure the client knows I’m always available for them is what I pride myself on.
WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?
Being out in nature enjoying some fresh air and beautiful views with my friends is probably top of the list. Balance with work is key to staying at the top of my game for clients and investors and day hiking is always a great way to stay at peak energy, especially when you’re working sometimes 1-2 months straight during busy season . Outdoor sports like golf, biking, and shooting are also favorite pastimes.
If I’m not hanging out with friends or loved ones, you can find me at local volunteering events for some of my favorite non profits including Habitat for Humanity or Save the Redwoods League. Connecting with loved ones, friends, family and neighbors is always the best way for me to recharge.

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR DREAM VACATIONS?
Year long stay at seaside villas in both Spanish and French Basque country. Eating and drinking my way through both areas and learning about local regenerative farming practices.
