I've been familiar with real estate since a young age, that is if you count eating open house treats while your parents view the homes as a notable real estate experience. Since I was young, one of our family's favorite pastimes was visiting open houses like new construction or people who were selling in our neighborhood. Not to mention, my dad was also a realtor back in my home state. I quickly became familiar with the role of a realtor and how they fit into the home-buying process. In my mind, realtors were like helpers that made the monumental decision/process of buying a home that much easier.
After finishing school, I joined the corporate workforce for a year but felt removed from my purpose in that experience. Despite joining company and external initiatives to strengthen my communities, the impact didn't feel strong enough and the drive didn't feel personal enough. I decided to click 'Confirm' on the real estate course that had been sitting in my cart for two years. A while later, I found Sequoia Real Estate and decided this would be where I'd plant my roots, nurture new professional growth, and engage with my communities on a deeper, more personal level.
I am a newly licensed realtor and am excited to keep growing this field that has inspired me for years! With Sequoia, I am learning every day and developing new skills and tools to provide the best value possible to YOU.
Previously, I've worked in community engagement and development, media operations, and project management. I've gained so many transferrable skills from these roles including community building, partnerships development, risk management, communications, etc.
Currently, I focus on residential housing (single family, townhome, condo, etc.)
Currently, I specialize in the areas including and in-between the tri-valley and central valley areas. This includes cities like Livermore, Tracy, Mountain House, and Lathrop. It's an exciting time in these areas!
I like to say I'm inspired by spaces, places, and faces - this means I love the acts of understanding how a space may transform into a home, how the historical or architectural significance of a place may lend to its' emotional/fiscal value, and how a family or person may fit into the space or place.
Empathetic, Patient, and Tenacious.
In my time in the Bay Area, I've developed numerous relationships with individuals working in lending, architecture, interior design, and other local small businesses. I believe my service is incomplete if you're left anywhere along the home-buying process with unanswered questions. If there's ever a question I can't answer or a service I myself can't provide, I will always leave you in the hands of a capable professional I trust.
I grew up in the Twin Cities in Minnesota and frequently traveled to Georgia, Texas, and California for my parents' work. While Minnesota still feels like my first home, I've spent the past 5 years in the Bay Area and can say with confidence that I love it here!
I first moved to Berkeley for school - I attended UC Berkeley where I studied Political Economy and International Development. I was grateful to have pursued education based on my interests and still carry those learnings with me today.
1. Water - hydrate or diedrate.
2. Sunlight - I'd kill for floor to ceiling windows (for legal purposes, not literally of course).
3. A good smelling candle - for vibes.
4. A matchbox - to light the candle, obviously.
5. People I love - no explanation needed :)
When I'm not working, I love exploring mother Earth. You can find me among trees, near the ocean, or simply just looking up at the sky. Moments pass by in an instant so I like to observe my surroundings because you never know what you miss, only what you see.
Visiting an ancient Romanian castle and running into a ghost...BOO!
October - I'm a sucker for spooky seson.
Kitchen - that's where all the food is...Did I mention I love to eat?
