About Raymond Lam
DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE.
My journey to real estate started 25 years ago when I was an adolescent accompanying my parents to open houses, fulfill their American dream, and buy their first home. The experience wasn’t exactly pleasant due to multiple reasons and the two that stood out the most were the lack of authenticity and professionalism. From then on, I decided at a young age that I will be a realtor one day to help people realize their American dream with 110% professionalism and authenticity. I truly believe the purpose of living is giving and helping people realize their dreams.
WHAT ARE THREE WORDS YOUR CLIENTS WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE YOU?
My clients value my authenticity, honesty and transparency
WHAT MOST EXCITES YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
I enjoy helping families realize their homeownership dream.
WHERE HAVE YOU LIVED? WHERE DO YOU LIVE NOW?
I consider San Francisco my home as I’ve lived here for over 30 years. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity of working in Singapore for a short stint and lived in NYC for a few years.
WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?
I enjoy staying active by running the marina green and embarcadero or at Barry’s Bootcamp getting a workout in.
WHO INSPIRES YOU AND WHY?
My father has always inspired me. He spent majority of his life helping people as a medical doctor back in Asia as well as a health professional in the states. I’m grateful to have inherited his empathetic trait.
IF YOU COULD BE ANY ANIMAL, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Of course it would be a lamb since my last name is lam. I’ve also picked up the nickname lamb chop over the years!
