Meet Sammy

REALTOR ASSOCIATE®

DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY INTO REAL ESTATE.

My hero in business is a real estate agent. She was very knowledgeable and pristine with the way she helped navigate us through our first home purchase. I often wondered if and how I could start in this industry. I had been operating my own 24/7 3PL warehouse which took up majority of my time and made it impossible to start another career. All of that changed in 2020 when I decided to leave the logistics business and take a leap of faith in joining the real estate industry by enrolling in classes.

WHAT MOST EXCITES YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?

What brings me joy is seeing the excitement of my clients after receiving their keys. It’s also an amazing feeling being able to grow with your clients and assist them in achieving their goals. As they start families, or watch their kids mature and become college students.

WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT WORKING?

If I’m not patrolling in Chinatown or working, you’ll find me with family. We have 2 boys, 17, 21, and 2 American Bullies, Chapo and Treinta. Treinta is like the daughter I never had.

DESCRIBE YOUR INVOLVEMENT WITH ANY ORGANIZATIONS?

At the beginning of the pandemic, I helped to form a patrol group for SF Chinatown. We provided a presence in Chinatown so that merchants and residents could perform their essential activities safely. We also assisted other organizations with distribution of PPE equipment and other activities. Today, we mostly just patrol and engage with the community.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO A 5-YEAR-OLD CHILD IF HE OR SHE ASKED YOU WHAT THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS?

To keep learning and growing. Exercise your body, mind, and find out just how powerful you can be!

Sammy’s hero in business happens to be a real estate agent who was very knowledgeable and on point with how she helped navigate his family through their first home purchase. As a result, he often wondered if or how he could start in the industry. At that time, he was already operating his own 24/7 warehouse, which took up all of his time and made it tough to start another career. That changed in 2020 when he decided to leave the logistics business and take the leap into the real estate industry by enrolling in classes. Being used to handling or overseeing all tasks from beginning to end, he loved being able to come up with solutions to the most challenging problems. Sammy is also very involved in his community. For example, at the beginning of the pandemic, he helped form a patrol group for SF Chinatown, which provided a presence in Chinatown so merchants and residents could perform their essential activities safely.
